Next Sunday 11th of December we celebrate the International Mountain Day, a chance to create awareness about the importance of mountains to life and to highlight the opportunities and constraints in mountain protection and development. On Monday 12th the Spanish Ministry of Environment, and Rural and Marine Affairs organizes a related event at its headquarters in Madrid with presentations and round tables.
