All work to be carried out on Med-O-Med stations will fall within two areas – educational and technical.
The educational area covers matters relating to building awareness among all population groups, technical training relating to the purpose of the project and scientific research on matters relating to conservation of biological diversity, natural resource management and sustainable development.
The technical area can be divided into three sub-areas: technical advice for people whose work has an impact on their environment, experimentation with traditional and innovative production techniques, and the provision of activities for the Station and monitoring of all projects in progress in the country where the Station is located.
