Centres of Plant Diversity

This research, open to all members of the Med-O-med community, offers information about “Centers of Plant Diversity” (CPD) located in Islamic culture countries of the Mediterranean basin and the Middle East. Its goal is to enhance the programme’s Network of Botanic Gardens, focusing on possible nodes that could contribute to the cooperation between Spain and these countries on this issue. This research has been carried out by Sara Martínez Frías and coordinated by Esteban Hernández Bermejo, both from the University of Córdoba.
