Biodiversity study in Mediterranean region

Last week, which held the World Environment day, WWF, IUCN and Plantlife published the report, titled “Important Plant Areas of the South and East Mediterranean Region”.

This report provides an comprehensive analysis about the conservation condition and status of the vegetation in the Mediterranean countries which are also the geographical scope of the program Med-O-Med. You can find a list of “Important Plant Areas ” and also a brief report on the situation in each country, as well as a section of recommendations for various public institutions responsible for environment in the region.
