OTHER INFORMATION On 4 February, 2000 according to the decision (N 7/2) of Presidium of Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences. Botanical Garden was separated from the structure of Institute of Botany for improving of activity of Botanical Garden. Now it is independent scientific-research organization in the Department of Biological Sciences of Azerbaijan Academy of Sciences and it was renamed to Central Botanical Garden of ANAS. It was confirmed the statute, scientific committee and scientific structure of garden. Central Botanical Garden has its own PhD courses
