The Botanical Garden of the University of Almería is composed of a series of gardens of various sizes, designed for the study and dissemination of flora. The university campus, characterised by low-rise buildings and large green areas, has traditionally featured ornamental species in its landscaped zones. However, in the past decade, new gardens have been added, designed by CECOUAL following botanical criteria, with the aim of integrating them as living collections within the Botanical Garden.
