The citizen initiative that represents avaaz.org, mobilize to solve the most dangerous problems of the world, is doing a sign petition to present it to the European Commission.
As it is announced in Avaaz, for the first time in 12 years, The European Commission is putting the GM lobby’s profits over public concerns approving the growth of genetically modified crops. The 60% of Europeans feel we need more information before growing foods that could threaten our health and environment.
The challenge of Avaaz is to achieve 1 million signs of this petition in order to prohibit the GM not before needed investigation will be done.
